CECA Memberships

CECA is pleased to offer the following memberships:

• Contractor: This membership is ideal for companies regularly and substantially engaged in the business of selling, installing, modernizing and servicing elevators and elevating devices. Contractors have voting rights in the association.
• Supplier:  This membership is ideal for companies regularly and substantially engaged in the business of as supplying components, accessories, or services for equipment, directly to Contractor members. Supplier members may exhibit at CECA Conventions and vote for their own representative on the Board of Directors.
• Dual: This membership is ideal for companies that are actively engaged in the business of installing, maintaining, modernizing and repairing elevator equipment as well as manufacturing related equipment, components and accessories.  At General Meetings a Dual Member will be considered as a Contractor Member for voting purposes but may also exhibit at CECA Conventions.
• Subscription: This membership is ideal companies such as architects, building planners, and all others who qualify as consultants on the installation, maintenance, conversion, design or replacement of equipment but are not engaged in the business of a contractor or supplier.  A contractor without an office in Canada would be considered a Subscription membership. It is a non-voting membership.
• Institutional: This membership is available to those who qualify, non voting memberships in the Association composed of organizations not primarily engaged in the business of selling, installing and servicing of elevator equipment, but whose Institution employs a registered and/or licensed elevator mechanic with the intent to service their own equipment and is a consumer of these products and services but does not fit the description of a Contractor, Supplier, Subscription, Social or Honorary member.
